One calculator, three ways.
Basic for everyday sums. Scientific adds sine, cosine and tangent, log and natural log, squares, cubes, square roots, π and e. Office works the way a bursar’s desk calculator does. Type on the keyboard or click the keys, in any mode.
A short history. Your last 20 calculations from the past 30 days. The most recent show under the display; click one to bring it back.
Office mode
Works like the calculator on the bursar’s desk.
Each operation applies as you press it, so 2 + 3 × 4 gives 20. It has memory keys, a grand total of every result since you last cleared, a 00 key, and percent and mark-up keys that follow desk calculator conventions.
Out of the way
Open beside your work, tucked away when not.
Open the calculator or notepad from the top bar and drag it where it does not cover what you are reading. Minimise it and it waits as a round button in the bottom-right corner; press it and the tool comes back where it was, as it was.
Notepad
Notes that save themselves.
Keep as many notes as you need in a list beside the one you are writing. Give a note a title, or leave it and it is listed by its first words. Each saves shortly after you stop typing, and before you switch note or close it. Delete a note when you are done with it.
Yours alone. Notes belong to you and follow you to other computers when SMS syncs.
Still there after you lock. An open tool stays open as you move between pages and through the lock screen.
Everyone who signs in. Each person sees only their own notes and calculations.
