Surepass integration

One school record. Two connected apps.

With both school servers in place, Surepass reads your school from SMS, and finished exam marks can go back for report cards.

School records flow from SMS to Surepass; reviewed exam marks return to SMS. Both run as connected school servers. An example.

From SMS to Surepass

Your school, without entering it twice.

Surepass imports the records your school already keeps in SMS.

  • People. Students and staff come across from SMS.

  • Structure. Classes, sections and subjects match what SMS holds.

  • The school year. Sessions and terms carry over, so tests and exams belong to the right period.

Surepass reads the school’s structure, people and calendar from SMS. Example counts.

Mark allocations

Assessments that match your mark sheet.

The active term’s exam components in SMS, such as first CA, second CA and the exam, become assessment types in Surepass.

  • Same components, same names. Teachers set Surepass assessments against the parts of the total your school already uses.

From Surepass to SMS

Review the marks. Then send them.

Choose the SMS exam and the component the marks belong to, preview the result, then export.

  • Scaled to the component. Scores are adjusted to the full mark of the chosen SMS component.

  • Preview before sending. See which students matched and what each will receive before anything is written.

  • A clear summary. The export reports how many marks were added, updated and skipped, and why any were skipped.

Fictional results scaled to the chosen component’s full mark and previewed before export. An unmatched student is skipped, not guessed.
