Staff leave
Leave asked for, decided and on record.
Staff apply for the leave their role allows. Managers approve or reject it, and every application stays on file.
Leave types
Allowances set for each role.
Define the kinds of leave a role can take and how many days a year each allows.
Only what applies to them. Staff can apply only for leave types defined for their own role.
Applying
An application with the evidence attached.
Choose the type and dates, give a reason, and attach a supporting document if needed.
Within the allowance. An application that asks for more days than remain for that type is refused, and so are dates that overlap leave already requested.
Withdraw while pending. A pending application can be withdrawn by the person who made it.
Deciding and reporting
Decide in place. Report by date.
Every application at the branch is listed and can be filtered by role. Open a pending one to approve or reject it, with the dates, reason and any attached document in front of you.
Recorded on someone’s behalf. An administrator can enter leave for a member of staff directly, for example after a phone call. It is saved as approved.
Leave reports. List applications in a date range, for every role or one, with totals for applications, approved, pending and rejected. A paperclip marks those with a supporting document.
From the first day of the application to the last, inclusive.
No. An application asking for more days than remain for that leave type is refused.
