Occasions
Inter-house sports. Graduation. Cultural day.
Create the occasions your school marks, and every picture is filed under one. Each branch keeps its own occasions and pictures.
Clear about deleting. Deleting an occasion removes the pictures filed under it, and the confirmation says so before anything goes.
Uploading
A whole event in one upload.
Choose many pictures at once, give them a title and an occasion, and upload. JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP pictures up to 5 MB each are accepted.
Smaller files, same pictures. Each picture is saved as a WebP file, which takes less space on the school’s computer. PNG and GIF transparency is kept.
Told what was skipped. A file that is too big, too large in pixels, or not really a picture is skipped, and the message names it. The rest still upload.
Browsing
Find last year’s graduation in a click.
Pictures appear in a grid with their title, occasion and size. Filter by occasion, open a picture at full size, or download it with its original file name.
Deleting
Thirty days to change your mind.
A deleted picture goes to the recycle bin, where it can be restored or removed for good. Each one shows how many days it has left before it is cleared after 30 days.
Your pictures, your call. Staff can delete the pictures they uploaded. The school owner can delete any.
Restore it from the recycle bin within 30 days.
Pictures over 5 MB, wider or taller than 8,000 pixels, or files that are not real images are skipped. The upload message lists each one.
Staff whose role allows adding to the gallery. Viewing, adding, deleting and managing occasions are separate permissions.
