NYSC management

Corps members, from call-up to discharge.

Record each corps member’s posting, follow their service year, and keep their discharge on file.

Fictional corps members with their state codes, batches and how far through the service year each one is.

The posting

Every posting detail in one record.

Link the corps member to their staff record and fill in their call-up details.

  • Call-up and state code. Call-up number, state code, batch, service year and deployment state.

  • Place of primary assignment. The PPA’s name and address, alongside the monthly allowance.

A fictional posting record, linked to the corps member’s staff profile.

The service year

Know who is serving, and until when.

Service runs for a year, so the expected end date follows the start date unless you change it.

  • Statuses for real situations. Serving, completed, absconded, relocated or extended.

  • The totals at the top. See how many corps members you have, how many are serving or completed, and the total monthly allowance.

  • Filter by status and year. Find corps members by status or service year.

The expected end date follows the start date, and each corps member has one of five statuses. Example dates.

Discharge

The discharge kept with the record.

When service ends, record the actual end date and the discharge certificate.

  • Certificate on file. Certificate number, date and an uploaded copy, with remarks.

  • One profile per corps member. Each corps member’s profile shows their full posting record from call-up to discharge.

A fictional corps member completes service, with the discharge certificate and actual end date kept on their record.
