# Academium

> Academium provides school management software, assessment and practice software, school IT infrastructure services, and an examination question content API.

Academium was founded in January 2024 by Akingbe Oluwamayowa Samuel. It is a subsidiary of Codeindigitech Limited, the company behind CodeinDevelopers.

Academium SMS, Academium Surepass, Academium Plus, and Academium Question Bank API are distinct products and services. Surepass also has an in-app question bank; the Question Bank API is a separate product for developers.

School CBT tests and exams in Surepass run on the school's local network through its onsite server and Client Edition. Academium Cloud supports students practising away from school through Individual Edition; it is not an internet-hosted school CBT exam service. JAMB, WAEC and NECO names identify supported past-question collections, not affiliations or endorsements.
